S.R.K.B.V. Matriculation Higher Secondary School, a flagship institution of the Sri Ramakrishna Group of Institutions, embarked on its illustrious journey on June 10th, 1982, with a vision to provide exceptional education at an affordable cost. From humble beginnings with a primary section and 67 students, the school has blossomed into a thriving institution, offering classes from LKG to 10th Standard, following the matriculation syllabus. Recognized by the Director of School Education, Tamil Nadu, the school was empowered to conduct matriculation examinations from April 1991, and subsequently upgraded to a higher secondary school in June 1992.
The Sree Ramakrishna Virunthalaya Educational Society has reached significant milestones in its journey of academic excellence. It established the Sree Ramakrishna Medical College of Natural and Yogic Sciences in 2001–2002, with the first batch commencing on September 19, 2001. Further growth was marked by the launch of Sree Rama Krishna College of Nursing in 2011–2012 and S.R.K International School (CBSE) in 2012–2013, reflecting its continued commitment to quality education and holistic development.
